A JADU is called a Junior Accessory Dwelling Unit. It is an attached room or garage to the existing house that is converted into another liveable unit with a separate entrance, bathroom and a basic kitchen up to 500 square feet. A JADU can also be rented out for additional income

The mother also wanted to plan for the future for the daughter to have that additional income from renting the ADU after she left this world. We had the privilege of building that ADU for them. The challenge was to connect the plumbing to the main sewer line; No Problems, only Solutions
We Built It
Final result is a detached ADU with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a full size kitchen. The kitchen cabinets were built with prefabricated cabinets helping them keep within budget. Each bedroom and living room has a mini split system for cooling and heating on one condenser
